The Vice President of Instruction serves as the college’s chief academic officer, leading all instructional programs, faculty, and academic support services. This role oversees curriculum and program development, class scheduling, accreditation and assessment, and instructional budgeting. The VPI builds partnerships with employers and educational institutions, advances equity and student success initiatives, and collaborates with other executive leaders to align academic offerings with community and workforce needs. Lead all instructional programs, including workforce, transfer, and basic education offerings. Oversee curriculum development, approval processes, and continuous improvement of teaching and learning. Manage instructional budgeting, resource allocation, and compliance with laws and accreditation standards. Supervise and develop deans, directors, faculty, and instructional staff. Lead assessment, program evaluation, and accreditation activities for academic areas. Collaborate with college leadership on strategic planning and enrollment management. Build and maintain partnerships with K–12, higher education, business, and community organizations. Promote equity, inclusion, and participatory governance within instructional divisions.
