Pomeroy Living is seeking a dedicated Maintenance Director to oversee all maintenance operations at our senior living facilities. This role is pivotal in ensuring that our facilities provide a safe, functional, and comfortable environment for our residents, staff, and visitors. The Maintenance Director will manage the maintenance team, develop preventative maintenance plans, and ensure compliance with all safety and building regulations. This position requires a blend of leadership, technical expertise, and a commitment to providing exceptional living conditions in a healthcare setting. Oversee the daily operations of the maintenance department, ensuring efficient management of staff and resources. Develop, implement, and monitor comprehensive maintenance schedules for the entire facility, including preventative, corrective, and emergency maintenance. Ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal regulations and laws, including OSHA and ADA, related to facility maintenance and safety standards. Manage budgets, forecast expenses, and negotiate contracts with vendors and contractors to optimize cost-effectiveness. Conduct regular inspections and audits of the facilities to identify necessary repairs and maintenance. Collaborate with other department heads to ensure that the facility meets the highest standards of cleanliness, safety, and operational efficiency. Lead, train, and mentor maintenance staff, promoting a culture of high performance and continuous improvement.
