Memorial Hermann Health System is seeking a compassionate Dietitian to join our Healthcare & Social Assistance team. In this role, you will assess patients’ nutritional needs, develop individualized care plans, and provide medical nutrition therapy across diverse clinical settings. You will collaborate closely with physicians, nurses, and therapists to support treatment goals, educate patients and families on dietary management of acute and chronic conditions, and document care in the EMR. Assess patients’ nutritional status using medical history, labs, and dietary intake Develop and implement individualized nutrition care plans and interventions Provide medical nutrition therapy for acute and chronic conditions Educate patients, families, and caregivers on diet and lifestyle recommendations Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and interdisciplinary teams to support care goals Document assessments, plans, and outcomes in the electronic medical record Monitor and evaluate patient progress, adjusting plans as needed Ensure compliance with regulatory, safety, and hospital nutrition standards Participate in quality improvement and evidence-based practice initiatives Contribute to a collaborative, patient-centered care environment Medical nutrition therapy (MNT) Nutritional assessment and care planning Electronic medical record (EMR) documentation Knowledge of therapeutic diets and clinical guidelines Patient and family nutrition education Interdisciplinary team collaboration Nutrition support (enteral/parenteral) basics Data interpretation of labs and anthropometrics Regulatory and JCAHO nutrition standards knowledge Time management and caseload prioritization Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Life Insurance 401k Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RDN) credential State of Texas Licensure as a Licensed Dietitian (LD) or eligibility to obtain Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR) certification Completion of an ACEND-accredited dietetics program and supervised practice Basic Life Support (BLS) preferred Clinical or acute care nutrition experience preferred5c143e31-5e48-4549-b638-05792d185386
