Spectrum Center Schools and Programs seeks an Education Program Director to lead a nonpublic special-education school serving K–12 students with autism, emotional and behavioral challenges, and other special needs. The Director oversees academic and behavioral programs, IEP compliance, staff supervision, and school operations while fostering a safe, supportive learning environment. This role collaborates closely with clinicians, teachers, families, and district partners, drives data-informed instructional practices, ensures regulatory compliance, manages budgets, and champions a mission-driven, student-centered culture focused on meaningful outcomes. Lead overall academic and behavioral programs for a K–12 special-education school Ensure IEP development, implementation, and compliance with state and federal regulations Supervise, coach, and evaluate teachers and support staff Collaborate with clinical, behavioral, and related services teams to support students Partner with families and district representatives to align goals and services Use data to drive instructional decisions and monitor student outcomes Oversee daily school operations, scheduling, and resource allocation Manage program budget and enrollment to meet organizational targets Maintain a safe, positive, and therapeutic school climate Support professional development and promote a mission-driven culture Special education program management IEP development and compliance Staff supervision and coaching Behavioral intervention frameworks (e.g., PBIS, ABA collaboration) Data-driven instruction and progress monitoring Regulatory compliance (IDEA, state special education law) Budgeting and resource management Family and district stakeholder collaboration School operations management Crisis prevention and de-escalation practices Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Life Insurance 401k Valid California teaching or special education credential preferred Administrative Services Credential strongly preferred Knowledge of IDEA and special education regulations Experience with IEP development and implementation Training in behavioral or therapeutic supports for students with special needs5c143e31-5e48-4549-b638-05792d185386
