Encompass Health seeks a dedicated Speech Pathologist for our inpatient rehabilitation hospital. In this role, you will assess, diagnose, and treat patients with speech, language, cognitive-communication, and swallowing disorders. Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to develop individualized treatment plans that support optimal recovery and patient independence. Evaluate and diagnose speech, language, cognitive-communication, and swallowing disorders. Develop individualized treatment plans for patients in collaboration with interdisciplinary teams. Document patient progress, modifying treatment plans as needed to achieve therapeutic goals. Educate patients and families on communication and swallowing strategies to enhance quality of life. Participate in team meetings and contribute to the development of innovative rehabilitation programs.
