Encompass Health seeks a Therapy Team Leader to guide an interdisciplinary rehab team within our inpatient rehabilitation hospital. You will coordinate physical, occupational, and speech therapy services, mentor therapists, and ensure evidence-based, patient‑centered care. Responsibilities include managing caseloads, optimizing care plans, supporting regulatory compliance, and collaborating closely with nursing and physicians. Lead and coordinate daily activities of the interdisciplinary therapy team. Oversee patient evaluations, treatment planning, and progression of therapy goals. Ensure delivery of evidence-based, patient-centered rehabilitative care. Collaborate with physicians, nursing, and case management on care plans and discharge planning. Monitor productivity, caseload distribution, and documentation timeliness. Support compliance with regulatory, accreditation, and organizational policies. Mentor, coach, and provide feedback to therapists and therapy assistants. Participate in performance improvement and patient outcome initiatives. Assist with staff scheduling and resource allocation to meet patient needs. Contribute to orientation and ongoing training of therapy staff. Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification. Advanced rehab certifications (e.g., NCS, OCS, GCS, NDT, CBIS) preferred.
