Develop and oversee quality assurance programs for nuclear medicine services, ensuring regulatory compliance, radiation safety, and high-quality patient care. Educate staff on quality standards and safety protocols, investigate incidents, maintain compliance records, and collaborate with healthcare professionals to advance continuous improvement. Develop, implement, and monitor nuclear medicine quality assurance and quality control programs. Ensure compliance with regulatory, accreditation, radiation safety, infection control, and HIPAA standards. Update departmental policies and procedures to reflect regulatory changes. Train nuclear medicine and related staff on quality standards and safety protocols. Investigate, document, and report incidents, and implement corrective actions. Maintain quality records and reports and support inspections, surveys, and accreditation reviews.
