What You'll Be Doing as an Accounting Manager

• Oversee daily accounting operations, including general ledger activities, reconciliations, and journal entries
• Lead monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes to ensure accurate and timely reporting
• Prepare and review financial statements and supporting schedules in accordance with GAAP
• Manage accounting activities across multiple locations, departments, or business entities
• Supervise, mentor, and develop accounting staff while promoting accountability and continuous improvement
• Review balance sheet reconciliations and investigate financial discrepancies
• Partner with Finance and Operations to analyze financial performance and support business decisions
• Coordinate annual audits and assist with external auditor requests
• Maintain and strengthen internal controls, accounting policies, and procedures
• Identify opportunities to streamline processes, automate reporting, and improve overall efficiency
• Support special projects and strategic initiatives as the organization continues to grow

What You Bring as an Accounting Manager

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance required
• CPA preferred
• 5+ years of progressive accounting experience, including experience in a senior or leadership capacity
• Strong knowledge of GAAP, financial reporting, and general ledger accounting
• Multi-location or multi-entity accounting experience strongly preferred
• Experience leading month-end close and preparing financial statements
• Previous supervisory or team leadership experience highly valued
• Public accounting experience is a plus
• Strong Excel skills and experience working with accounting or ERP systems
• Proven ability to improve xuwmhxw processes, strengthen internal controls, and manage competing priorities
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to partner across departments
• Hands-on, proactive leadership style with a strong sense of ownership and accountability
