Develops and maintains plant quality programs to ensure components and finished products meet engineering specifications, regulatory requirements, and company standards. Works with manufacturing, engineering, and suppliers to investigate issues, lead root-cause analysis, improve processes, and prevent defects. Supports assembly operations on the manufacturing floor and uses dimensional inspection tools and quality methods. Develop and maintain quality assurance programs, inspection methods, and control plans. Investigate manufacturing and assembly quality issues and lead root-cause analysis. Implement corrective and preventive actions and verify their effectiveness. Program and operate CMMs, ROMER arms, and laser scanners; analyze dimensional results. Interpret drawings and apply GD&T to ensure dimensional compliance. Review PPAP submissions and work with suppliers to resolve quality concerns.
