Encompass Health seeks a dedicated Physical Therapist to deliver evidence-based rehabilitation services in our inpatient setting. You will evaluate patients, develop individualized treatment plans, and implement therapeutic interventions to restore mobility, function, and independence. Collaborating closely with an interdisciplinary team, you’ll provide patient and family education, document progress in the EMR, and contribute to discharge planning. Perform comprehensive physical therapy evaluations for inpatient rehab patients Develop and implement individualized, evidence-based treatment plans Provide therapeutic exercises, gait training, and functional mobility interventions Educate patients and families on home exercise programs and safety Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and the interdisciplinary rehab team Document assessments, treatments, and outcomes accurately in the EMR Participate in discharge planning and recommendations for continued services Ensure compliance with regulatory, safety, and infection-control standards Physical therapy evaluation and treatment planning Gait training and balance intervention Neuromuscular re-education Orthopedic and post-surgical rehabilitation Therapeutic exercise prescription Manual therapy techniques Functional mobility and transfer training Patient and family education Use of therapy modalities (e.g., heat, e-stim, ultrasound) Electronic medical record (EMR) documentation Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Life Insurance 401k Current state licensure as a Physical Therapist (PT) Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) or equivalent accredited PT degree Basic Life Support (BLS) certification Experience with electronic medical records (EMR)5c143e31-5e48-4549-b638-05792d185386
