Role Description The Finance Specialist is a full-time remote role responsible for managing and analyzing the financial operations of Dragonfly Travel Inc. Daily activities include preparing and reviewing financial statements, tracking revenues and expenses for trips and packages, and supporting budgeting and forecasting processes. The Finance Specialist will maintain accurate accounting records, reconcile accounts, and ensure timely invoicing and payment processing for clients and vendors. This role will analyze financial data to provide insights on profitability, cost optimization, and pricing strategies, and will communicate recommendations to leadership. The Finance Specialist will collaborate with the travel operations team to ensure financial compliance, support decision-making, and contribute to efficient, scalable financial workflows.
Qualifications

• Candidates should possess strong Finance and Accounting skills to manage budgets, ledgers, and financial processes.
• Candidates should possess experience working with Financial Statements and related reporting tools to ensure accuracy and compliance.
• Candidates should possess solid Analytical Skills to interpret financial data, identify trends, and support strategic decisions.
• Candidates should possess effective Communication skills to present financial information clearly to non-finance stakeholders.
• Relevant qualifications such as a bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or a related field are preferred.
• Proficiency with accounting or ERP software and spreadsheets (e.g., Excel or Google Sheets) is beneficial.
• Experience in travel, hospitality, or service-based businesses is an advantage.
• Ability to work independently in a remote environment, manage multiple deadlines, and maintain high attention to detail.
