Encompass Health seeks a compassionate Physical Therapist to deliver evidence-based rehabilitation services within our inpatient rehabilitation hospital. You will evaluate patients, develop individualized treatment plans, and provide therapeutic interventions to restore mobility, function, and independence. Collaborating closely with an interdisciplinary team, you will track outcomes, educate patients and families, and ensure safe discharge planning. Perform comprehensive physical therapy evaluations and develop individualized treatment plans Provide therapeutic interventions to improve mobility, strength, balance, and functional independence Document assessments, progress notes, and discharge summaries in accordance with regulatory standards Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and interdisciplinary team members on care plans Educate patients and families on home exercise programs, safety, and functional goals Participate in care conferences and contribute to discharge planning Maintain compliance with facility, state, and federal regulations Supervise and mentor PTAs and support staff as appropriate Ensure safe use of equipment and adherence to infection control protocols Engage in ongoing professional development and evidence-based practice Orthopedic and neuromuscular assessment Gait training and balance rehabilitation Therapeutic exercise prescription Manual therapy techniques Transfer and mobility training Use of rehabilitation modalities (e-stim, ultrasound, etc.) Care planning and documentation in EMR systems Patient and family education Interdisciplinary team collaboration Discharge planning and outcome measurement Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Life Insurance 401k Current state Physical Therapist (PT) license Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) or equivalent accredited PT degree BLS/CPR certification Experience in inpatient rehabilitation preferred5c143e31-5e48-4549-b638-05792d185386
