Encompass Health seeks a compassionate Physical Therapist to deliver evidence-based rehabilitation services in our inpatient setting. You will evaluate patients, develop and implement individualized treatment plans, and collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to restore function, mobility, and independence. Perform comprehensive physical therapy evaluations and develop individualized treatment plans Deliver therapeutic exercises, gait training, and functional mobility interventions Educate patients and families on home exercise programs and safety strategies Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other rehab professionals on care plans Document assessments, goals, progress notes, and discharge summaries accurately and timely Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings and discharge planning Use assistive devices and rehabilitation equipment safely and effectively Contribute to quality improvement and evidence-based practice initiatives Provide supervision and guidance to PTAs and rehab techs as appropriate Ensure compliance with regulatory, ethical, and safety standards Orthopedic and neurologic physical therapy Functional mobility and gait training Therapeutic exercise prescription Balance and fall prevention interventions Patient and family education Use of assistive devices and rehab equipment Clinical documentation and EMR proficiency Interdisciplinary care coordination Pain management techniques within PT scope Discharge planning and home program development Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Life Insurance 401k Current state Physical Therapist (PT) license Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) or equivalent accredited PT degree American Heart Association BLS/CPR certification Experience with inpatient rehab or acute care preferred5c143e31-5e48-4549-b638-05792d185386
