The Advertising Sales Assistant is responsible for putting together ad proposals, presentations, and scheduling a client’s online advertising plan. They will work closely with the advertising and creative staff to make sure everything is in place to ensure customers’ expectations are met.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist and support a team of sales executives with processing of retail and classified advertising
  • Track customer performance, proof advertisements, and meet submission deadlines
  • Serve as liaison between sales executives and business office to resolve credit and billing issues
  • Help organize proposals and presentations
  • Input ad information into sales applications
  • Serve customers in sales executives absence


Qualifications:

  • Upbeat, high energy personality
  • 1-2 years of advertising or sales experience preferred
  • Excellent communication, analytical, time management, presentation skills and professional demeanor focused on customer service
  • Highly proficient in the use of a PC and in the use of MS Office Applications such as Outlook, Word and Excel, and PowerPoint
