Enterprise Data Delivery & Analytics is seeking a Technical Lead to join our team to advance our Hadoop Data Integration capabilities.  This position will be of a hands-on development lead whose primary responsibility is to define best breed Data Integration solutions on Big Data ecosystem and deliver them. This role is a key contributor in defining the Center of Excellence in Hadoop data compute competency working with partners in other IT organizations and business units. The successful candidate should demonstrate the ability to leverage solid architecture skills in defining solutions, developing them and effectively deliver them. Additionally the candidate should be proficient in the skills to be able to mentor and guide other members of the technical team. The ideal candidate will be an integral part of a Global Delivery team, demonstrate an ability to face challenges together with a high regard for diversity and inclusion.
  • Communicate efficiently and effectively and be able to understand, interpret and relate an organization’s strategy and vision to the Data Integration(DI) team
  • Build strong and trust worthy relationships with the team and promote true big data culture
  • Be agile in understanding the needs, flexible in defining solutions and nimble with delivery
  • Identify key opportunities in current data integration patterns and define new ones as needed working in collaboration with stakeholders.
  • Provide high-quality data integration solutions leveraging Hadoop ecosystem while supporting the business objectives
  • Effectively communicate results to cross functional teams and all stakeholders at various levels throughout the organization.
  • Take accountability of the architecture and solution, and ensure it is delivered effectively and efficiently
  • Establish scalable, efficient, automated processes by leveraging a wide range of environments and technologies.
  • Work closely within a team structure and demonstrate successful collaboration with other team members.



Required Skills:
  • B.S. (M.S. preferred) in a relevant field such as Computer Science
  • Hands-on experience in developing and implementing Big Data initiatives using at least one or more below mentioned technologies:
    • Spark Engine(Spark SQL, Spark Streaming)
    • Python, Pig
    • Kafka
    • NiFi or any other Data Ingestion tools like StreamSets, Talend, Big Data Insights etc
    • Hive, HBase, Impala
    • MapReduce
  • Skilled at data warehousing and Data integration concepts
  • Demonstrate relational databases and experience and understanding ( Oracle, Teradata, SQL Server, etc.)
  • Superior communication and presentation skills, both written and oral
  • Excellent relationship building and interpersonal skills
  • Passionate for all things data, and ready to collaborate in a diverse and inclusive team environment
Desired Skills:
    • Experience with DataStage or any ETL tools
    • Experience with Financial data sets and business acumen
