Job Description • Our client is hiring a FinTech Risk Analyst with experience in Operational Risk Management, Business Process Improvement, and Data Analytics to join our Risk team. You will have the opportunity to apply your risk expertise and analytical skills to solve challenging risk problems. Will work alongside experienced risk and analytics experts. Responsibilities • Support and/or lead the continued development and implementation of the Bank's Risk Management Framework by developing, planning and implementing complex corporate initiatives • Identify continuous improvement opportunities, launch projects, and manage projects to completion and post-completion assessment • Support and/or lead the ongoing development and formalization of frameworks to support the ongoing proactive management of process development, review and controls • Develop requirements and re-engineer processes • Facilitate the evaluation, selection and implementation of supporting systems and tools • Develop and update the company’s policies and procedures. Develop, analyze, and prepare regular reporting on internal metrics . Key Skill sets or Knowledge Requirements • Motivated, self¬-starter who enjoys working in a team-oriented fast¬-paced environment • Highly detailed oriented • Knowledge of banking regulations both conceptually and application • Organizational skills; the ability to manage multiple initiatives, constantly • Exceptional work ethic; proactively and energetically pursues success • Innovating thinker who is able to translate thoughts into actions Desired Career Experience & Educational Requirements • Experience running projects independently while proactively engaging with management and other project stakeholders • At least 2 years of experience working in capital markets/investment banking, or at a management consulting company • At least 2 years of experience in risk identification, governance, process, workflows and controls • Process improvement initiatives with demonstrable and significant, measurable benefits • BA or BS in Business or Finance read more
