Description

This is an excellent opportunity to join our World Class Audit team as an Information Technology Auditor.  This position will be responsible for auditing new and existing information system applications to ensure appropriate controls exist, that processing is efficient and that information system practices are in compliance with corporate standards.  

Responsibilities of this position include the following:
  • Evaluating both Technology and Business related controls for integrated auditing efforts
  • Contribute actively to business audits and maintain regular communication with department management
  • Support the comprehensive risk assessment process, continuous monitoring and special projects identified by senior and executive management
  • Assisting in Planning and performing audits of information systems and related processes in a multi-platform environment including Microsoft, UNIX/Linux, Oracle, DB2 and more.  
  • Assisting management in the identification and assessment of technology related risks and reporting on the adequacy and effectiveness of risk based controls.  
  • Assume responsibility for specific areas within larger audits, delivering on work assigned to complete the audit engagement
  • General understanding of risk based auditing techniques
  • Ability to be self sufficient with a willing to learn and develop internally and externally

Qualifications

• 2+ years experience in auditing applications, information systems preferably within banking/financial institutions

• Working knowledge of business processes and IT General Controls and Control Frameworks (SOX, COBIT, ISO2700x)

• Risk oriented knowledge of infrastructure components, such as: Database Management systems (e.g. DB2, SQL, Oracle), Major Operating System platforms (Windows, Unix/Linux). 

• Working knowledge of regulations and statutes such as: GLBA, SOX, Dodd Frank or FFIEC and CFPB guidelines

• Goal oriented with Project Management skills 

• Must possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills

• Big 4 is a plus


Education


• Bachelors degree in Accounting Information Systems (AIS), Computer Science, Information Systems, or Business Discipline

• Preferred Certifications: CISA, CISM, CIA, CISSP
