Position Description

The Licensing Manager will be responsible for the oversight of the region licensing staff. The individual selected for this position will interact with all levels of management, ensure timely and accurate processing, and assist with multiple financial projects and initiatives.


Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent in finance, accounting or related field
  • Four or more (4+) years of accounting/business/employee management experience
  • Strong oral and written communication skills
  • Ability to create and maintain professional relationships within all levels of the organization (peers, work groups, customers, supervisors)
  • Ability to work independently and as a member of a team
  • Flexibility to operate and self-driven to excel in a fast-paced environment
  • Capability to multi-task, highly organized, with excellent time management skills
  • Detail-oriented with excellent follow-up practices
  • Advanced level MS Excel skills such as working with formulas, data tables, pivot charts, queries, custom functions, data management, analysis and developing financial reports
  • Knowledge of commercial vehicle licensing and regulations preferred

Responsibilities
  • Provide management of region licensing staff with daily tasks and responsibilities
  • Provide monthly scorecard and accounting analysis of licensing expenditures
  • Assist licensing team with planning and deadline adherance
  • Assist with escalation items related to the licensing process
  • Assist with customer requests and special reporting
  • Create tools to improve performance and efficency of the licensing process
  • Provide "real time" information to help manage the business on a daily/weekly/monthly basis
  • Perform other duties as assigned
