Central Peninsula Hospital is seeking a Clinical Pharmacist to join our collaborative healthcare team in beautiful Soldotna, Alaska on the Kenai Peninsula - one of Alaska's premier destinations for fishing, hiking, wildlife, and outdoor adventure.
This full-time position offers:
• Flexible rotating schedule with three 12-hour shifts
• Critical Position Bonus - $10,000 for a one-year commitment or $25,000 for a two-year commitment
• Relocation Assistance
• Competitive pay ranging from $69.78/hr to $79.75/hr DOE
• Additional shift differentials for nights and weekends

As a Clinical Pharmacist at CPH, you'll play a vital role in supporting safe, evidence-based medication use across inpatient care, infusion services, and emergency medicine within a rural hospital setting. This position offers the opportunity to practice at the top of your license while working closely with physicians, nurses, and interdisciplinary care teams to optimize patient outcomes.
Responsibilities include:
• Clinical medication review and dispensing
• Pharmacokinetic dosing and medication monitoring
• Participation in patient care rounds
• Antimicrobial stewardship and medication safety initiatives
• Sterile and hazardous medication preparation, including chemotherapy
• Emergency response support during code situations
• Staff education and quality improvement initiatives
We're looking for candidates with:
• Bachelor's or Doctorate in Pharmacy
• Alaska Pharmacist Licensure or eligibility to obtain
• Strong clinical knowledge and communication skills
• Ability to work independently while thriving in a team-based environment
Preferred qualifications include hospital pharmacy experience, oncology/infusion experience, ACLS certification, and completion of a PGY1 or PGY2 residency.
