Job Description
Structural Designer - Industrial Projects (Concrete & Steel)
Location: Dothan, AL or Jacksonville, FL (In-Office)
Type: Contract-to-Direct (Expected conversion within 6 months)
Pay: $36-$50/hr + overtime (based on experience and education)
We are seeking a Structural Designer to support industrial project work involving concrete and steel structures. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys hands-on design, working independently, and contributing to a range of industrial projects.
What You'll Be Doing

• Design and develop structural drawings for industrial projects
• Create foundation drawings and structural layouts
• Perform rebar spacing and preliminary steel sizing
• Utilize design software including AutoCAD, Revit, and/or AutoCAD Plant 3D
• Collaborate with engineering teams to support project execution

What We're Looking For

• Minimum 3+ years of structural design experience
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, or AutoCAD Plant 3D
• Working knowledge of:
  • Preliminary steel sizing
  • Rebar spacing and detailing
• Experience with industrial projects involving concrete and/or steel
• Ability to work independently in an in-office environment

Preferred Experience

• Background supporting industries such as:
  • Pulp & Paper
  • Chemical
  • Oil & Gas
• Strong experience with concrete and steel structural projects
