Industrial Maintenance Technician

Our client, an industry leader in manufacturing and industrial services, is seeking a dedicated and skilled Industrial Maintenance Technician to join their team. As an Industrial Maintenance Technician, you will be an essential part of the Maintenance Department supporting operational excellence. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and a proactive attitude, which will align successfully within the organization.

Job Title: Industrial Maintenance Technician

Location: Huntsville, AL
Pay Rate: $29/hr

What's the Job?

• Perform work involving multiple maintenance or craft occupations to keep machinery, equipment, and building structures in optimal condition.
• Repair or replace defective equipment parts using hand tools and power tools, then reassemble equipment.
• Conduct routine preventive maintenance to ensure smooth operation of machines and building systems.
• Inspect drives, motors, belts, and fluid levels, replacing filters and performing other maintenance tasks following checklists.
• Assemble, install, or repair wiring, electrical and electronic components, pipe systems, plumbing, machinery, and equipment.

What's Needed?

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 5-7 years of relevant experience in maintenance or related fields.
• Basic knowledge of machines, tools, and their repair and maintenance.
• Understanding of raw materials, production processes, quality control, and cost management.
• Strong analytical, verbal, and written communication skills, with a team-oriented mindset.
