Director, Business Development-Space

As Senior Director of Business Development for CACI's Space Sensemaking division, you will drive growth for a $1.3B-space portfolio by seeding, shaping, and winning opportunities. You will build trusted partnerships across the U.S. Space Force, DoD, and the IC to enable mission-ready software and hardware solutions. This role blends strategic leadership with hands-on pipeline management to navigate complex funding cycles and deliver sustained top- and bottom-line growth. You will lead cross-functional teams to shape offerings and expand software development services beyond the IC into the DoD. This is a high-impact, mission-focused leadership role.

• Oversee strategy and growth across a mixed portfolio of licensed software and bespoke development
• Cultivate trusted relationships with government stakeholders and IC customers to discern needs and shape acquisitions
• Spearhead market expansion by transitioning software development services from the IC to the DoD
• Lead long-range planning, pipeline development, and backlog generation; guide proposal strategies and color team reviews
• Identify and shape new hardware/software offerings by analyzing geopolitical shifts, customer priorities, and tech trends
• Leverage cross-functional leadership to drive organizational objectives in a matrixed environment

• 15+ years strategic leadership in Space/Intelligence sectors
• Proven track record of winning new business with customers and cross-functional teams
• Bachelor of Science in Computer Engineering, Systems Engineering, or related technical discipline
• Active Top Secret with SCI eligibility
• Proficiency in pipeline management and USG Opportunity Management Systems (SAM.gov, ARC, NSTXL SpEC)
