Business Analytics Manager

In this role you lead Garver's business analytics practice, guiding a team of BI developers and analysts. You own analytics projects from scope to delivery, advise clients, and shape analytics services across sectors. You will combine data architecture expertise with strategic business judgment to drive growth and impact. You will engage with executives and cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality analytics solutions that support project goals and client needs. • Lead, mentor and grow a team of BI developers and analysts, including recruitment, goal setting, performance reviews, and career development
• Plan and balance workload; ensure on-time, on-budget delivery meeting Garver quality standards
• Establish data modeling, dashboard design, documentation, and quality review standards
• Drive analytics projects from initiation to delivery; manage planning, tasks, budgets, and performance
• Coordinate stakeholders across clients, engineering leads, project managers, and internal data teams
• Prepare scopes, work plans, effort estimates, and fee proposals; monitor financials and manage scope, risks, and priorities
• Develop strategic goals for the analytics practice and align offerings with growth objectives
• Identify opportunities to expand services within client programs and markets; support pursuits with solution approaches and pricing
• Provide direction on data management, architecture and modeling; oversee dashboard development and governance
• Present findings to executive/non-technical audiences; deliver client training and documentation

• 10+ years in business analytics, BI, data management, or related field
• 5+ years direct people management experience
• Project management experience
• Advanced proficiency in Power BI; experience with Tableau and ArcGIS Dashboards; SQL-based databases
• Expertise in data management, data architecture, and advanced data modeling
• Ability to manage scope, schedule, budgets, and deliverables with stakeholder coordination
• Experience writing project scopes and fee estimates
• Experience presenting to executives and delivering training
• Strong business acumen and track record of driving strategic goals
