Lancer Hospitality is seeking a Banquet Sales Manager to drive event and catering revenue across our diverse venues. In this role, you will prospect and secure group and social events, craft customized proposals, and manage the sales process from inquiry to signed contract. You’ll partner closely with culinary and operations teams to design menus, plan event logistics, and ensure seamless execution. This position is ideal for a service-focused, results-driven hospitality professional who thrives in a collaborative, guest-centric environment and is passionate about building client relationships and delivering memorable experiences. Develop and execute banquet sales strategies to achieve revenue targets for events and catered functions Prospect, qualify, and secure new group and corporate banquet business through outbound sales and networking Respond to banquet inquiries, prepare proposals, negotiate pricing, and close contracts within company guidelines Collaborate with culinary, operations, and event teams to design menus, event layouts, and service plans Coordinate event details, BEOs, and timelines to ensure flawless execution and guest satisfaction Maintain accurate sales forecasts, pipelines, and activity records in CRM and internal systems Host site visits, tastings, and client meetings to showcase Lancer Hospitality’s venues and services Monitor event performance, gather client feedback, and implement improvements to enhance service quality Build and maintain strong client relationships to drive repeat business and referrals Ensure compliance with food safety, alcohol service, and venue policies during all events Banquet and catering sales Event planning and coordination Hospitality sales prospecting Contract negotiation and closing Menu planning and BEO preparation CRM and sales pipeline management Revenue forecasting and reporting Customer relationship management Food and beverage operations knowledge Knowledge of food safety and alcohol service standards Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Life Insurance 401k ServSafe Food Handler or Food Manager certification preferred Alcohol server certification (e.g., MAST or equivalent) preferred Certified Hospitality Sales Professional (CHSP) a plus5c143e31-5e48-4549-b638-05792d185386
