Ro Health is seeking a Special Education Paraprofessional to support students with diverse learning and behavioral needs in school settings. In this role, you will assist teachers and clinicians in implementing IEPs, provide 1:1 and small-group support, and help with behavior management, communication, and daily living skills. You will document student progress, follow care and safety plans, and collaborate closely with educators, therapists, and families. Provide 1:1 and small-group support to special education students in classroom and resource settings Assist teachers and clinicians in implementing IEP goals, accommodations, and behavior plans Support students with communication, social skills, and academic tasks across the school day Assist with behavior management, de-escalation strategies, and reinforcement of positive behaviors Help students with basic care and daily living needs as appropriate (e.g., mobility, self-care) Monitor and document student engagement, behavior, and progress as directed by the team Collaborate with teachers, therapists, school staff, and families to support student success Maintain a safe, respectful, and inclusive learning environment aligned with school and Ro Health policies Special education classroom support IEP implementation support Behavior management techniques Data collection and documentation Basic caregiving and ADL assistance De-escalation and crisis prevention Collaboration with teachers and clinicians Communication with students and families Instructional accommodation and modification support Basic computer and electronic record use Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance 401k Paraprofessional or Instructional Aide certification (state-specific) CPR/First Aid certification Crisis prevention/intervention training (e.g., CPI) preferred Experience working with children with disabilities preferred Background check and school district clearance5c143e31-5e48-4549-b638-05792d185386
