Shift Details: Schedule: Monday – Friday (8:00 AM – 5:00 PM)

Job Description:

We are seeking a dedicated Medical Assistant to support ambulatory clinical operations. The ideal candidate will assist providers with patient care, follow established clinical protocols, and ensure accurate documentation while maintaining high standards of patient service and compliance.

Key Responsibilities:

• Meet ambulatory Medical Assistant clinical competencies
• Perform clinical procedures under the supervision of a Provider
• Follow protocols for prescription refills and medication prior authorizations
• Implement provider orders as directed by the licensed care team
• Support standardized patient care processes to ensure timely patient flow
• Maintain organized clinical rooms stocked with adequate supplies
• Ensure patient information is accurate and available in the electronic health record
• Maintain all required logs, checks, and documentation in a timely and accurate manner
• Adhere strictly to HIPAA regulations
• Collaborate with centralized services to support patient needs
• Ability and willingness to float to other clinic locations as needed
• Follow reporting protocols for compliance or incident reporting
• Perform additional duties within scope as assigned by management

Education & Certification Requirements:

• High School Diploma / GED or equivalent
• Medical Assistant Certification (Required)
• BLS Certification (Required)
