Location: Bay Area, CA (Hybrid/Onsite as applicable)
Overview:
We are seeking a strategic and hands-on Director of Enterprise Systems to lead the evolution, optimization, and governance of our enterprise applications ecosystem, with a primary focus on NetSuite. This role will play a critical part in driving operational excellence, improving business processes, and maximizing ROI on systems investments following a recent NetSuite implementation.
This leader will manage a small but high-impact team and partner cross-functionally with Finance, Operations, Supply Chain, and IT to enhance system capabilities and support company growth.
Key Responsibilities:
- Own the Enterprise Systems Strategy
- Define and execute the roadmap for enterprise applications, with NetSuite as the core ERP platform
- Align systems strategy with business objectives and scaling needs
- Drive NetSuite Optimization & Process ImprovementLead post-implementation enhancements following a NetSuite go-live (~3 years ago)
- Identify inefficiencies and implement scalable, best-practice processes across Finance, Order Management, and Operations
- Partner with stakeholders to continuously improve workflows, reporting, and system adoption
- Team LeadershipManage and mentor a team of 2 enterprise systems professionals
- Foster a high-performance, collaborative, and solutions-oriented culture
- Cross-Functional PartnershipAct as a key liaison between business teams and technical resources
- Translate business requirements into scalable system solutions
- Support Finance (close, reporting), Supply Chain, and GTM operations
- Systems Governance & IntegrationEstablish governance, change management, and documentation standards
- Oversee integrations between NetSuite and other business systems (e.g., CRM, billing, data tools)
- Ensure data integrity, security, and compliance
- Vendor & Stakeholder ManagementManage external consultants, implementation partners, and vendors
- Prioritize initiatives and manage competing demands across the business
