Manager, Finance and Accounting Advisory Services

In this role you will support CFO-level financial advisory with a focus on US GAAP and SEC reporting for private and public clients. You will drive planning, reporting, and policy design while collaborating with cross functional teams and external auditors. You'll manage client engagements, mentor staff, and help streamline close processes to enable faster, accurate financial disclosures. • Financial planning and analysis including forecasting, budgeting, and pro-forma preparation
• Provide technical accounting expertise for US GAAP and SEC requirements with research, documentation, and client presentation
• Prepare external financial reports for clients, auditors, or the SEC (10-K, 10-Q, 8-K, proxies)
• Assist in designing and implementing new accounting policies and procedures
• Improve and streamline the financial close and monthly/quarterly reporting processes
• Liaise with external auditors and internal decision-makers for audit readiness
• Assist with cash-to-accrual accounting, opening balance sheet, and purchase accounting after transactions
• Lead and manage projects with direct client coordination
• Foster proactive relationships with clients and cross-functional teams
• Supervise and mentor staff with feedback and training
• Travel up to 25% (Bay Area may require out-of-area travel)

• BS degree in Accounting, Finance, or another Business-related field (or equivalent work experience)
• Strong Excel and PowerPoint skills
• Minimum 4 years of experience, including at least 2 in public accounting and an operational accounting role
• Deep knowledge of US GAAP (IFRS exposure a plus) with ASC 606, lease transactions, and purchase accounting
• Experience in technical accounting or SEC reporting within a company
• Flexibility to work from home with in-person collaboration
