Finance Associate - $3B Venture Fund

In this Finance Associate role at a venture capital firm, you support fund accounting, investor reporting, audits, and tax for multiple funds, working closely with the Controller, CFO, and external administrator. You will gain broad exposure to VC finance operations in a lean, entrepreneurial team and contribute to process improvements and fund launches. This role offers mentorship and hands-on experience across fund-related financial activities within a collaborative culture.

• Support fund accounting and reporting across multiple venture funds and related entities
• Assist with capital calls, distributions, management fees, and fund expenses
• Maintain reconciliations, schedules, and supporting workpapers
• Track investment activity, commitments, and capital balances
• Support investor reporting and ad hoc requests
• Partner with the external fund administrator
• Support annual audit and tax processes, including K-1 reporting
• Assist with management company and GP accounting
• Support cash reconciliations and month-end close
• Contribute to process improvements, fund launches, and special projects
