Vi Living seeks an Assistant Director of Facilities Management to support safe, reliable, luxury senior living environments. In partnership with the Director, you’ll oversee building operations, maintenance, housekeeping, and life-safety systems across our continuing care campus. Responsibilities include supervising staff and vendors, planning preventive maintenance, managing capital projects, and ensuring compliance with healthcare, OSHA, and local building codes. You’ll monitor budgets, respond to emergencies, support inspections, and collaborate with nursing and operations leaders to minimize disruption and deliver exceptional resident service. Assist in overseeing all building operations and grounds for a continuing care retirement community Supervise maintenance, housekeeping, and facilities staff and manage vendor relationships Plan and execute preventive maintenance programs for mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and life-safety systems Support capital planning and facility improvement projects, including budgeting and scheduling Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations, OSHA, life-safety, and local building codes Monitor facilities budget, approve purchases, and track maintenance expenditures Respond to building and equipment emergencies and coordinate timely resolution Prepare for and support regulatory and safety inspections and audits Collaborate with nursing, hospitality, and operations teams to minimize disruption to residents Promote a safe, resident-first culture aligned with Vi Living standards Facilities management Preventive maintenance planning HVAC systems knowledge Building automation and controls Budgeting and cost control Vendor and contractor management Regulatory and code compliance (OSHA, life-safety) Computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS) Project management Emergency response and safety procedures Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Life Insurance 401k Certified Facility Manager (CFM) preferred Facilities Management Professional (FMP) or similar credential a plus OSHA safety training/certification preferred EPA HVAC/Universal Refrigerant certification a plus Valid driver’s license Knowledge of healthcare or senior living regulatory standards5c143e31-5e48-4549-b638-05792d185386 read more
