Clearwater at Sonoma Hills, a senior living community in Rohnert Park, CA, is seeking a Maintenance Director to lead all building and grounds operations. This role oversees preventive maintenance, repairs, life-safety systems, and vendor coordination to ensure a safe, comfortable environment for residents and staff. The Maintenance Director manages a small team, prioritizes work orders, supports regulatory and safety compliance, and partners with other departments. Ideal candidates bring strong hands-on skills, leadership ability, and a resident-first mindset aligned with our culture of respect, compassion, and continuous improvement. Oversee daily maintenance operations for buildings, grounds, and equipment. Develop and execute preventive maintenance schedules for all systems. Perform and supervise repairs to HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and apartment turns. Ensure compliance with safety, health, and fire regulations and company standards. Manage, train, and schedule maintenance staff; monitor performance and workloads. Coordinate and oversee outside vendors and contractors, including bids and inspections. Respond to and prioritize resident and staff work orders in a timely, courteous manner. Maintain maintenance records, logs, and inventories of supplies and equipment. Support emergency preparedness and respond to building or system emergencies. Collaborate with community leadership to plan capital improvements and budget needs.
