Overview

As Director in Armanino's Corporate Finance & Restructuring team, you lead end-to-end engagements in corporate recovery, restructuring, and special situations, including distressed M&A. You will analyze client plans, debt capacity, and contracts to craft turnaround strategies and evaluate financing options. You combine financial acuity with operational insight to deliver integrated modeling, forecasts, and client deliverables, while guiding project teams and developing business. Responsibilities
  • Lead and execute engagements across corporate recovery, restructuring, distressed M&A, and special situations (e.g., Chapter 11, receiverships, Article 9 sales)
  • Analyze client business plans, debt capacity, competitive positioning, key contracts and regulatory considerations
  • Develop turnaround strategies with contingencies and assess restructuring/financing alternatives
  • Create integrated financial models, cash flow forecasts, business plans, and supporting analyses
  • Perform financial reviews for liquidations, bankruptcy, and receiverships
  • Manage project teams and outside professionals to meet client expectations
  • Apply project management to scope, prioritize, plan, and execute initiatives
  • Lead business development and marketing activities to originate new opportunities
  • Prepare client deliverables including analyses, reports, and presentations
  • Lead, mentor, and develop team members in complex financial modeling and analyses
Key requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree in business-related field
  • Min. 10 years in investment banking, restructuring advisory, or special situations
  • Proven track record in business development and transaction sourcing with lenders/investors/attorneys
  • Deep understanding of financial reviews, restructurings, workouts, distressed sales, and related insolvency services
  • Flexibility to work from home with in-person collaboration half the time
