Senior Director IT Business Operations

This senior leadership role oversees analytics, performance metrics, and operational solutions to improve efficiency and cost-effectiveness in healthcare IT. You will partner with executives and cross-functional teams to define requirements, ensure security and controls, and guide strategy and resource planning. You'll lead talent development, drive continuous improvement, and translate business needs into technology-enabled outcomes. This position offers a strategic impact at scale in a healthcare technology setting.

• Direct operations of multiple units and departments by assessing needs, resources, and forecasts; align with strategic priorities and drive cross-functional support
• Translate business strategy into actionable requirements and allocate resources accordingly
• Set standards, measure progress, and implement contingency plans to close performance gaps
• Oversee talent development, recruitment, and performance management to build a skilled workforce
• Direct requirements development for cross-domain process or system solutions with IT teams (Solutions Delivery, Infrastructure, EA)
• Manage solution design alignment with business strategy, budgets, and SLAs
• Oversee standardized tools and processes to support continuous process improvement
• Communicate lessons learned to leadership and consulting teams; foster best practices across IT consultancies
• Drive workforce planning and partnerships between IT consultants, PMs, and planning leaders
• Assess costs, ROI, and TCO for proposed solutions and ensure alignment with functional and non-functional needs
• Monitor capacity and demand for IT resources; manage budgets and capital plans across departments
• Approve staff augmentation via managed services when needed
• Travel: up to 25%
• Ensure security controls (physical, infrastructure, network, application) and inform cross-divisional teams

• Minimum six (6) years of management experience
• Minimum five (5) years managing operating or capital budgets
• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, CIS, Mathematics, or related field and minimum ten (10) years experience in business operations, IT consulting, or related field
• Travel willingness (25%)
