Role Description

This is a contract-based remote role for a Veterinarian specializing in at-home pet euthanasia. Responsibilities include providing compassionate end-of-life care to pets, consulting with pet owners regarding care and options, ensuring medical standards are followed, and completing necessary documentation. The Veterinarian will communicate empathetically and maintain professionalism while traveling to clients' homes to perform the service.

Qualifications

• A Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM or VMD) degree and appropriate state licensure
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to provide compassionate care and comfort to pet owners
• Experience in euthanasia procedures, along with knowledge and application of ethical considerations
• Proficiency in completing necessary medical documentation accurately and promptly
• Ability to work independently, manage time efficiently, and travel to client locations
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
• Commitment to professionalism, respect, and ethical treatment of animals
• The ability to remain calm and composed in emotionally charged situations
