About Groove
Most older adults with osteoporosis fall through the cracks of traditional medicine. They get a DEXA, a prescription, maybe a referral to PT for six visits and then they're on their own. Groove exists to close that gap. We're a remote, PT-led care model giving older adults with chronic musculoskeletal conditions an ongoing relationship with a clinical team that knows them, meets them where they are, and helps them get stronger over time. We're early-stage, small, and building the kind of care most clinicians got into this field to provide.
The Role
We're hiring a California-licensed physician to join our care team part-time as a telehealth physician. You'll conduct intake visits, place safety guardrails, refer patients into our PT-led program, manage medications when appropriate, and provide ongoing physician oversight as patients progress.
This isn't a traditional physician role. The PT is the expert in MSK programming and drives the long-term care plan. Your job is to bring medical judgment, education, and safety to the model. The right person derives professional satisfaction from the PT and patient's success - not from sitting at the top of the hierarchy.
You'll work directly alongside our clinical leadership and founding team.

What This Role Is (and Isn't)
This isn't a traditional clinic role. There's no front desk, no back-to-back 15-minute slots, no rounding. You'll see Groove patients via telehealth, work asynchronously with the PT team, and have autonomy in how you structure your time.
It's also not a role for someone who wants to lead clinical care for chronic MSK conditions in a traditional way. Our care model puts the PT in the driver's seat for ongoing programming. If that's a problem for you, this isn't the right fit.
