Consultant Refractive, Cornea & Transplant Surgeon

The Consultant will play a key role in:

• Delivering specialist refractive, corneal, and transplant ophthalmology services within a high-volume private setting
• Providing expert assessment, diagnosis, and management of complex corneal and anterior segment conditions
• Performing a broad range of procedures, including refractive surgery, corneal transplants, and advanced anterior segment surgeries
• Contributing to service development, innovation, and clinical excellence
• Supporting a patient-centred approach to care, ensuring excellent outcomes and patient satisfaction
• Collaborating with optometrists, ophthalmologists, and multidisciplinary teams to optimise patient outcomes

Salary & Benefits

• €150,000 basic salary
• Excellent bonus structure (potential to earn up to €500k)

Eligibility

Suitable applicants may hold:

• Fellowship in Cornea, Refractive Surgery
• UK CCT, EU Specialist qualification, or equivalent international certification
• American Board, Canadian, Australian, or New Zealand Fellowship
• Eligibility for Irish Medical Council Specialist Registration is required
