Senior Certified Surgical Technologist (ASC - Multi-Specialty Experience Required)


A Senior Certified Surgical Technologist with minimum 5+ years of experience is sought to join our operating room team at a state of the art ambulatory surgery center in Beverly Hills, California.


We are looking for a highly skilled, dependable professional who is already proficient across multiple surgical specialties and can operate with minimal oversight in a fast-paced ambulatory surgery center environment. The ideal candidate demonstrates strong clinical judgment, leadership ability, and ownership over surgical workflow, instrument management, and OR efficiency.



Key Responsibilities

  • Operating Room Excellence
  • Prepare and set up operating rooms with strict adherence to sterile technique
  • Scrub and assist in a wide range of procedures, anticipating surgeon needs with efficiency and precision
  • Perform accurate surgical counts with the circulating nurse
  • Ensure smooth room turnover and maintain OR readiness between cases
  • Multi-Specialty Surgical Support
  • Independently scrub cases across:
  • Spine
  • Orthopedics
  • Pain management
  • Plastic surgery
  • Hand surgery
  • Podiatry
  • Demonstrate familiarity with specialty instrumentation, implants, and workflows
  • Sterile Processing & Instrument Management
  • Inspect, assemble, and sterilize instruments according to protocol
  • Operate autoclaves and maintain sterilization logs and biological monitoring
  • Maintain strict compliance with infection control and regulatory standards
  • Inventory & Case Coordination
  • Manage and maintain surgical inventory levels
  • Coordinate and update surgeon preference cards
  • Ensure all instruments, implants, and supplies are available and ready for scheduled cases
  • Organize and track specialty equipment and loaner trays


Leadership & Accountability

  • Take ownership of OR efficiency and workflow
  • Serve as a resource for team members and support staff
  • Assist in maintaining a high-performing, organized, and compliant surgical environment
  • Contribute to continuous process improvement and readiness for inspections


Qualifications:

  • Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) required
  • Minimum 5 years of scrub experience (ASC or hospital setting)
  • Proven experience across multiple specialties (spine, ortho, pain, plastics, hand, podiatry strongly preferred)
  • Strong knowledge of sterile processing, instrumentation, and infection control standards
  • Demonstrated leadership ability and high level of accountability
  • Highly organized with excellent attention to detail
  • Ability to work independently in a fast-paced surgical environment


Compensation and Benefits:

$45.00-$55.00 per hour
