Based in Aptos, California, we are a mobile spa, wellness, and training company offering thoughtfully curated holistic services tailored to individual client needs.

Our team of wellness professionals is passionate about helping clients reconnect with themselves through restorative experiences that nurture the body, mind, and nervous system. Services are provided in beautiful coastal settings including luxury resorts, private residences, vacation homes, retreats, and corporate wellness environments.

We are currently expanding our contractor team for experiences offered at properties including Seascape Beach Resort, private Airbnbs, businesses, and homes throughout the Aptos and Santa Cruz County area.

Role Description

The Daily Makeover is seeking licensed wellness professionals - including Massage Therapists, Estheticians, and Sound Healers - to join our team in an independent contractor, on-call capacity.

This role is ideal for professionals who are passionate about wellness, client care, and creating calming, high-quality experiences in beautiful coastal environments. Contractors will provide services including massage therapy, skincare treatments, sound healing sessions, and wellness experiences in-room at resorts, private residences, vacation rentals, and select corporate or retreat settings.

Professionals are expected to:

• Deliver exceptional therapeutic and wellness services
• Maintain a calm, professional, and welcoming environment
• Customize treatments based on client needs and preferences
• Arrive prepared, organized, and client-focused
• Collaborate with our wellness team to create elevated guest experiences
• Uphold all licensing, sanitation, and professional standards

Qualifications

• Valid California certification or license in Massage Therapy, Esthetics, or related wellness field
• Liability insurance required
• Experience in therapeutic massage, relaxation treatments, skincare, or sound healing preferred
• Knowledge of modalities such as Swedish, Deep Tissue, Shiatsu, Stretch Therapy, or energy-based healing is a plus
• Strong customer service and communication skills
• Ability to work independently in mobile and hospitality environments
• Professional, reliable, and client-centered demeanor
• Experience in wellness, hospitality, luxury spa, or holistic health settings preferred

Compensation

Pay starts at $85-$165+ per service, depending on treatment type, duration, and location, plus gratuities.

Flexible scheduling and opportunities for growth within retreats, resort partnerships, wellness events, and private bookings.
