U.S. Renal Care is seeking a Dialysis Registered Dietitian to provide specialized medical nutrition therapy to adults with chronic kidney disease in our outpatient dialysis centers. In this role, you will assess nutritional status, interpret labs, and create individualized renal meal plans that support fluid and electrolyte balance, blood pressure, and overall health. You’ll educate patients and families, document care in the EMR, and collaborate closely with nephrologists, nurses, and social workers. Conduct comprehensive nutrition assessments for dialysis patients, including history, diet, and labs Develop and update individualized renal meal plans and interventions based on clinical status Interpret and track pertinent lab values (e.g., potassium, phosphorus, albumin) to guide nutrition care Provide ongoing patient and family education on kidney-friendly diets, fluid restrictions, and supplements Document assessments, care plans, and progress notes accurately within the EMR and per regulations Collaborate with nephrologists, nurses, social workers, and technicians on coordinated care plans Monitor patient outcomes and adjust nutrition interventions to meet quality and regulatory standards Participate in quality improvement initiatives and support survey readiness in the dialysis facility Coordinate with food service or vendors regarding supplements and special nutrition products Maintain professional competencies through continuing education in renal and clinical nutrition Renal medical nutrition therapy Nutrition-focused physical assessment Interpreting lab values for kidney disease Care planning and documentation in EMR Patient and family nutrition education Interdisciplinary team collaboration Menu and supplement planning for dialysis patients Motivational interviewing and counseling Regulatory compliance for dialysis facilities Time management across patient caseloads Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Life Insurance 401k Registered Dietitian (RD) credential State licensure as required Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR) certification Experience with renal nutrition or dialysis populations preferred BLS/CPR certification preferred5c143e31-5e48-4549-b638-05792d185386
