Provide armed security services at assigned locations, ensuring the safety of staff, visitors, and property. Monitor surveillance equipment, inspect buildings, equipment, and access points, permitting entry where necessary. Prevent losses and damage by reporting irregularities and restraining trespassers as required while maintaining a high level of professionalism. Control traffic by directing drivers and maintaining a visible presence to deter illegal and inappropriate actions, ensuring the security of the premises. Investigate and report on any security-related incidents encountered during shifts. Collaborate with law enforcement and emergency responders when necessary. Complete comprehensive reports by recording observations, information, occurrences, and surveillance activities, maintaining organization’s stability and reputation. Knowledge of public safety and security procedures/protocols. Surveillance skills and detail orientation. Dependability and integrity, with the ability to handle potentially stressful situations calmly and effectively. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Proficiency in handling and maintaining firearms safely and responsibly.
