Avagyan Law, a boutique, client-focused firm in Los Angeles, seeks an Insurance Bad Faith Attorney to lead complex insurance coverage and bad faith matters. In this role, you will evaluate claims, draft coverage opinions, handle pleadings, motions, and discovery, take and defend depositions, negotiate settlements, and prepare cases for trial or arbitration. You will work closely with clients, providing clear, strategic guidance while managing a focused caseload. Lead and manage insurance bad faith and coverage litigation matters from intake through resolution Analyze policies, claim files, and facts to assess coverage and bad faith exposure Draft pleadings, dispositive and discovery motions, and comprehensive legal memoranda Conduct and defend depositions of parties, adjusters, and expert witnesses Manage written and electronic discovery, including strategy, review, and production Develop case strategy and prepare matters for mediation, arbitration, or trial Negotiate settlements and communicate risk and options clearly to clients Provide strategic, client-centered counseling throughout the life of each case Collaborate with firm leadership and staff to ensure high-quality work product Maintain organized case files, meet deadlines, and comply with court rules Insurance bad faith litigation Insurance coverage analysis Civil procedure and motion practice Legal research and writing Deposition practice Discovery management (written and electronic) Settlement negotiation and mediation Trial preparation and strategy Client counseling and communication Case and docket management Active California Bar license in good standing Juris Doctor (JD) from accredited law school Prior insurance coverage or bad faith litigation experience Strong legal research and persuasive writing skills Deposition and motion practice experience Trial or arbitration preparation experience Experience managing complex civil litigation docket Knowledge of California insurance law and civil procedure5c143e31-5e48-4549-b638-05792d185386
