Our client, a leading organization in the biotechnology and healthcare industry, is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Quality Control Technician to join their team. As a Quality Control Technician, you will be an integral part of the Quality Control department, supporting testing and documentation processes during the manufacture and release of vital control products. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong analytical skills, meticulous attention to detail, and a proactive approach to teamwork and problem-solving, which will align successfully within the organization.
Job Title: Quality Control Technician
Location: Irvine, CA
Pay Range: $25/hr
Shift: 0530 am - 0200 pm
What's the Job?
Operate, maintain, and troubleshoot QC laboratory instruments to ensure optimal performance.
Follow good laboratory practices to maintain accuracy and integrity of testing procedures.
Order supplies and maintain the preventative maintenance schedule for laboratory equipment.
Interface with other departments to facilitate smooth testing workflows and data sharing.
Evaluate assay runs for accuracy and acceptability according to Quality Control procedures and enter results into Laboratory Information Management System (LIMS).
What's Needed?
Associate's degree or higher in a science field or equivalent clinical lab experience.
Experience working in QC or a clinical laboratory environment is advantageous.
Strong knowledge of Quality Systems and Good Documentation Practices (GDP).
Experience with clinical laboratory techniques and equipment, including chemistry, hematology, and immunoassay analyzers, is a plus.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Excel, Word); experience with Laboratory Information Management System (LIMS) is beneficial.
