Volume of work Full-time, multiple simultaneous projects.2. Early projects to work on Hospital Quality Reporting: chart abstracted data and submission of electronic quality measures to CMS and Joint Commission; participation in CMS Promoting Interoperability program; data collection and reporting to the Medicare Beneficiary Quality Improvement Project (MBQIP) measures for the Critical Access Hospital California Flex Program; coordinate Mee Memorial Healthcare System Performance Improvement Program through Hospital Quality Committee and Board Quality Committee; prepare and respond to triennial Joint Commission and CMS/CDPH surveys for entire healthcare system (continuous survey readiness); keep up-to-date on regulatory requirements for healthcare; participation in the Hospital Incident Command System for ongoing SARS-CoV-2 public health emergency; wrap-up Patient Safety Culture Survey and Safe Patient Handling projects.3. Ideal candidate's background Experienced RN with background in various clinical arenas; management experience; background knowledge of quality, safety and performance improvement programs; preferred certification as a Certified Professional in Health Care Quality (CPHCQ) through the National Association for Healthcare Quality (NAHQ) and/or Certified Professional in Patient Safety (CPPS) through the Institute of Healthcare Improvement.4.
