Quality Assurance Tech

We are looking for experienced Quality Assurance Techs for a great company in the City of Cerritos! Schedule: Monday through Friday Hours: 1:30pm- 10pm Location: Cerritos, CA Pay: $20.25 The Quality Assurance Technician inspects raw materials, work in process and finished goods to ensure compliance with product specifications by performing the following duties.

Essential Duties And Responsibilities Include The Following:

• Preparing and implementing quality assurance policies and procedures.
• Performing routine inspections and quality tests.
• Identifying and resolving workflow and production issues.
• Developing quality standards, conducting tests, and identifying issues in the production of our products or services.
• Ensuring that standards and safety regulations are observed.
• Addressing and discussing issues and proposed solutions with superiors.
• Documenting quality assurance activities and creating audit reports.
• Making recommendations for improvement.
• Creating training materials and operating manuals.
• Exhibiting thoroughness and consistency when conducting quality control, testing, and audits.
• Being proactive in non-conformance prevention and maintaining a desire to help the organization to consistently achieve high quality and service expectations.
• The overall job performance meets the satisfaction of the Quality Control Supervisor/Management Representative.
• Assisting with nonconformance Return Material Authorization (RMA) investigations and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Assisting in updating RMAs in the ERP system when requested by a manager.
• Attending scheduled meetings and training sessions as needed to support quality control activities and employee development.
• Conducting customer-specific, routine quality control and testing as identified on production tickets and checklists.
• Conducting testing and collecting production performance data as needed in support of nonroutine quality control checks.
