As a Food Safety and Quality Assurance Supervisor in a commercial bakery, you will oversee FSQA technicians and daily food safety and quality activities on the production floor. You help maintain the Quality Management System and Food Safety Plans, monitor product and ingredient compliance, lead investigations and corrective actions, and support audits. You also partner with operations teams and promote a strong food safety culture in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. Lead FSQA technicians and manage daily food safety and quality activities on the bakery floor. Maintain and update the Quality Management System, including procedures, records, GMPs, and Food Safety Plans. Partner with operations, sanitation, maintenance, and warehouse teams to ensure regulatory and customer compliance. Monitor product quality, CTQCPs, and raw materials; investigate issues and drive corrective and preventive actions. Support and sometimes lead regulatory, customer, and third-party audits and environmental monitoring programs. Promote food safety culture initiatives and programs such as SIFIRI across the facility. Track and report FSQA KPIs and recommend process or technology improvements to enhance performance. Participate in hiring, training, scheduling, and performance management for FSQA staff as directed by the FSQA Manager. HACCP (Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Points) Food Safety Modernization Act / HARPC knowledge GFSI/BRC/SQF audit preparation and support Quality Management Systems (QMS) administration Root cause analysis and corrective/preventive actions Environmental monitoring and swabbing techniques Regulatory compliance (FDA/USDA for foods) Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) for food PCQI (Preventive Controls Qualified Individual) knowledge Data analysis and KPI tracking for quality Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Life Insurance 401k HACCP training (Preferred) PCQI – Preventive Controls Qualified Individual (Preferred) GFSI/BRC/SQF/USDA audit experience (Preferred)5c143e31-5e48-4549-b638-05792d185386
