Controller / Accounting Officer Location: Littleton, CO (On Site) Reports To: EVP Operations and CFO Position Summary Astro Digital seeks an experienced Controller / Accounting Officer to lead accounting, financial reporting, SEC compliance, audits, and internal controls. The ideal candidate is a CPA with public accounting and SEC reporting experience who can scale accounting operations and support the Company's growth and public-company readiness. Key Responsibilities Lead monthly, quarterly, and annual financial close processes. Prepare and oversee U.S. GAAP-compliant financial statements and SEC filings (10-K, 10-Q, 8-K). Manage external audits, technical accounting, and accounting policies. Oversee internal controls and SOX compliance initiatives. Support M&A, financing, due diligence, and strategic transactions. Develop and mentor the accounting team. Qualifications Active CPA required. Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance. 10 years of progressive accounting experience. Public accounting background (National or large regional firm preferred). SEC reporting and public-company experience. Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP, SOX, and audit requirements. Experience with ERP systems and process improvement initiatives. Preferred Experience Aerospace, defense, technology, or government contracting industries. IPO, SPAC, de-SPAC, or public-company reporting experience. Accounting for Stock compensation, complex debt, and revenue recognition expertise.
