Accounting Specialist - Parish

We are seeking a dependable, dynamic and detail-oriented Bookkeeping and Human Resources Assistant to join our team. This position will support the day-to-day accounting and HR functions of our church, school and early learning center. This role offers an opportunity to support both financial operations and HR functions. You will be instrumental in maintaining accurate financial records, managing payroll processes, and assisting with HR administrative tasks. Your proactive approach and strong organizational skills will help ensure smooth business operations while fostering a positive workplace environment.

Previous bookkeeping, payroll, administrative, or HR experience preferred
-Strong attention to detail and accuracy
-Excellent organizational and time-management skills
-Comfortable working with confidential information
-Experience with Parishsoft is a plus
-Experience with payroll or HR software like Paylocity is a plus
-Strong written and verbal communication skills
-Ability to work independently and follow through on responsibilities
-Dependable, willing to learn, and flexible
