Senior Consultant, Finance and Accounting Advisory Services

In this role you will support CFO Advisory clients with financial planning, GAAP and SEC readiness, and close-process improvements. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to deliver compliant, timely external reporting and policy design. You help clients scale for growth by delivering technically strong, advisor-like stewardship. • Financial planning and analysis including forecasting, budgeting, and pro-forma preparation
• Provide US GAAP and SEC expertise with accounting research, documentation, and client presentations
• Prepare external financial reports (10-K, 10-Q, 8-Ks, proxy statements) for clients
• Assist design and implementation of new accounting policies and procedures
• Improve close process and streamline monthly/quarterly reporting
• Liaise with external auditors and internal decision-makers for audit readiness
• Assist with cash-to-accrual accounting after transactions, opening balance sheet, and purchase accounting
• Lead and manage client-facing projects and coordinate with clients
• Foster proactive relationships with clients and cross-functional teams
• Provide timely performance feedback and training

• BS degree in Accounting, Finance, Business-related field or relevant experience
• 2-4 years' experience in public accounting, consulting, or operational accounting
• Strong Excel and PowerPoint skills
• Deep knowledge of US GAAP (IFRS exposure a plus) with ASC 606, lease accounting, purchase accounting
• Experience in technical accounting or SEC reporting a plus
• Excellent writing, communication, interpersonal, presentation, organizational, analytical, decision-making, and research skills
• Self-motivated with the ability to meet project deliverables
