The Edge Fitness Clubs is seeking an energetic Group Fitness Instructor to lead safe, motivating classes in our Fitness & Wellness department. You’ll deliver high-energy group workouts, provide coaching on proper form, and tailor exercises for all levels. Responsibilities include setting up equipment, tracking attendance, engaging members, and promoting club programs. You’ll foster a positive, team-oriented environment while upholding brand standards and safety guidelines. Ideal candidates are passionate about health, results-driven, and able to inspire members to achieve their fitness goals in a fast-growing, community-focused club. Plan and lead safe, effective group fitness classes for diverse fitness levels Demonstrate and coach proper exercise form and modifications Set up, inspect, and break down equipment before and after classes Engage and motivate members to support their fitness goals Monitor participant safety, intensity, and class flow Track attendance and promote upcoming classes and programs Maintain cleanliness and organization of the studio space Collaborate with club staff to support member retention and satisfaction Uphold The Edge Fitness Clubs’ service and professionalism standards Attend trainings and stay current on fitness trends and certifications Group fitness instruction Exercise programming Knowledge of anatomy and kinesiology Cueing and class choreography Fitness equipment setup and safety Heart rate and intensity monitoring Basic sales and member engagement Time management and class pacing CPR/AED response Record-keeping and attendance tracking Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance 401k Current group fitness certification (ACE, AFAA, NASM or similar) CPR/AED certification First Aid certification (preferred) Specialty format certifications (e.g., cycling, HIIT, yoga, strength) preferred5c143e31-5e48-4549-b638-05792d185386
