Horst Engineering seeks an experienced Quality Engineer to join our dedicated Quality Assurance team. This role is crucial for maintaining the integrity and safety of our precision machined components, serving industries such as aerospace, medical, and other high technology sectors. The Quality Engineer will be instrumental in implementing and overseeing quality control processes, improving existing systems, and ensuring that our production meets both internal and client specifications and industry standards. Develop, implement, and maintain quality control systems in CNC machining, thread rolling, and assembly processes. Conduct and analyze testing procedures to ensure that products comply with quality standards. Coordinate with the production team to ensure that practices meet compliance regulations and continuously improve process capability. Identify quality issues and provide solutions for production improvements. Prepare quality documentation and reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information and trends including failed processes, stability studies, recalls, corrective actions, and re-validations. Train and support production staff on new quality control systems or theories. Participate in internal and external quality audits. Strong analytical skills Experience in data collection, analysis, and management Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Proficient with statistical analysis tools and quality assurance software Deep understanding of quality control standards and testing methodologies Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance 401k Certified Quality Engineer (CQE) by the American Society for Quality (ASQ) preferred.
